One of which is the movie directed by Oliver Stone titled Money Never Sleeps. Thomas Belesis acted alongside Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf. He also expressed his concern on how the whole movie was directed and shot. The main plot of the movie involves traders at Wall Street. Belesis was able to show his knowledge about Wall Street by helping out in the finishing touches of the film. He supported Director Oliver Stone on how Wall Street should look like. Since he has spent a number of years there, he was able to give the movie a more personal touch to it.
Last but not the least, one of the biggest hats that Belesis wears every day is his role behind John Thomas Financial. He started this company out in 2007. A little trivia – did you know that John and Thomas are the names of Belesis’s grandfathers? In order to give a unique name to his company, he combined the names and started off his company on brokerage and retail trade. The three-man company evolved and grew. Nowadays, the company employs about 300 workers and still growing.
